The LHRW will be trained through an accredited program (at the cost of the organization) in the following: · Lead Paint Maintenance and Repainting More Information on this position Data Management and Program Evaluation AssistantThe Green & Healthy Homes Data Management and Program Evaluation Assistant will assist GHHI’s Data Management and Program Evaluation team with a variety of activities, including but not limited to the following: · Obtain data on completed Baltimore GHHI units to enter into centralized Efforts to Outcomes (ETO) data system. Such data will include household medical costs, energy consumption, unit interventions and costs. The Assistant will obtain data from a number of sources which includes administrative data sets, case files, or private entities such as medical offices, private insurance providers, managed care organizations and utility providers. · Assist in primary collection of post-intervention follow-up health and energy surveys. · Manage data obtained by environmental assessment and surveys by following quality assurance and quality control practices and protocols. · Monitor the entry of data into ETO and assist program staff as needed. · Train, manage and lead the Data Intern (part-time employee), SOURCE Service Scholar, and other interns (nursing, medical and public health students) to ensure that data collection procedures, HIPAA and IRB compliance is maintained when conducting health surveys and home visits. · Develop data collection tools, survey instruments and consent forms as needed. · Organize and integrate existing data files for importing into ETO and third-party utility data system. · Clean datasets for the purpose of synthesis and analysis of GHHI data for partner and funder reports. · Prepare written summaries and/ or presentations of data findings for the Executive Director, Data and Evaluation Manager, and Senior Project Officers. · Work with local and national staff to prepare GHHI client case studies, reports, graphs, tables and supporting documents as needed. · Perform comprehensive research on health, energy and housing to support proposals and applications for grants. · Assist in the writing of proposals for federal, state and philanthropic grants. · Oversee and convene monthly GHHI Learning Network’s Data and Evaluation Working group discussions. · Provide technical assistance to GHHI Baltimore Learning Network partners to expedite the data collection process. More Information on this position Healthy Homes Program ManagerThis is a full time position with the Coalition to End Childhood Lead Poisoning. The Program Manager will be responsible for the effective and efficient functioning of the Coalition’s Healthy Homes Demonstration Grant Program. The goal of the Program is to create Healthy Homes for children by reducing home-based environmental health hazards and triggers in the home associated with asthma, lead, mold, indoor allergens, structural defects, and safety hazards that may cause injury. The Safe at Home Program is also an integrated component of the Coalition’s innovative Green & Healthy Homes Initiative™.
